In year two of URBN’s partnership with After-School All-Stars, we were a part of the summer camp program at Conwell Middle School in Kensington. Between two school visits and a field trip to our campus, the campers learned about life and careers at the home office, participated in a fun photo shoot at Nuuly and heard from representatives from our URBNBlack and Voces Employee Resource Groups.

URBN (Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie Group, Free People & Nuuly) reposted this
Introducing our latest gallery installation at the URBN (Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie Group, Free People & Nuuly) home office, spotlighting our exclusive adaptive assortment. These pieces came to life after URBN's A.D.A.P.T ERG members pitched a capsule of adaptive-friendly clothing, prompting our design teams and industry experts from the disabled community to reimagine a selection of our bestsellers for universal wear. Content creators and disability advocates Allison Lang, Maya Moore, April Lockhart, and Bri Scalesse starred in the debut of these looks, working with our stylists to style their outfits and offering personal insights into what this collection means for the future of accessible fashion. We are proud to showcase this collection and the teamwork that came with it. See the gallery for yourself at Shop 543 in the Navy Yard, or view the pieces online: anthropologie.com/adaptive

Happy Juneteenth! Every year, the URBNBlack Employee Resource Group (ERG) recognizes Juneteenth with educational content for our URBN community. Evolving this approach for 2024, URBNBlack and their corporate counterparts are working together to develop educational and service activities with URBN nonprofit partner ACHIEVEability, an organization that has an incredible impact on Black and Brown communities in West Philadelphia. We'd like to applaud the members of our URBNBlack ERG for making this moment a catalyst for change in our beloved hometown. Watch this space for more. And in the meantime, check out a few of the Black-owned businesses our community loves: Daily Dressings > https://lnkd.in/ePBYQXxj Not a Bad Life > https://lnkd.in/enedzMkT Ginja Snap > https://lnkd.in/e562AFfC Erin and Avery > https://lnkd.in/eaJQ3Sq9 CThree > https://lnkd.in/eUNRHhcU

Congratulations to the Anthropologie team on their first adaptive collection, offering fashion and function for every body.
Excited to partner with Marie Claire to share the news that we’ve officially ‘entered the adaptive fashion chat.’ Our collection of best-selling styles with adaptive features offers innovative design attributes such as ease of use, adjustability, and superior comfort for universal wear. This assortment would not have been possible without the collaborative efforts of the URBN (Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie Group, Free People & Nuuly) Adapt ERG and the invaluable contributions of individuals such as Lucy Jones, Allison Lang, Maya Moore, April Lockhart, and Bri Scalesse. Thanks again to Marie Claire and Halie LeSavage for the thoughtful storytelling! Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/gqWNkTHD

We wrapped up Earth Month with a sold-out customization workshop hosted by FABSCRAP at Reclectic, URBN’s latest endeavor to find more eco-conscious solutions for products that can’t be sold at retail. Attendees tapped into their creativity, thrifted accessories, and fabric waste to give new life to garments. 100% of ticket proceeds and 5% of Reclectic's day-of sales, totaling over $7,000, were donated to Fabscrap!
