Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Michigan.  Applications are being accepted for a full-time Help Desk Specialist in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Grand Rapids is the headquarters, but also holds court in Kalamazoo, Lansing, Marquette, and Traverse City.  The district covers the entire Upper Peninsula and the Lower Peninsula from Lansing westward. The Help Desk Specialist works in a team environment to provide IT help desk support to court unit staff and provides technical support in installing and configuring computer hardware and software programs.   Performs other duties as assigned. Periodic telework may be possible after a period of establishment and/or training completed.  Salary range:  CL 25 ($47,966 - $77,966).  (Starting salary commensurate with work experience and current or previous Federal court experience. This position is located in the United States District and Bankruptcy Courts for the District of Columbia Clerk’s Office Administrative Services Division and reports to the Financial Director.  The Financial Administrator performs professional and managerial work related to supervision and oversight of all aspects of the financial functions of the court, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.  The incumbent manages and oversees the court’s financial support systems and services, ensures proper maintenance and analysis of all court accounting records, and develops and implements office policies, procedures, and programs for financial management consistent with the Guide to Judiciary Policy and the Treasury Financial Manual.
