At least 32 Ukrainian prisoners of war (POWs), recently captured by Russia, have been executed between Dec. 1, 2023, and Feb. 29, a report by the Office of the U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) said on March 26.

In the span of just one week, from March 18-24, Russia launched nearly 190 missiles of various types and 140 Shahed drones against Ukraine, along with close to 700 guided aerial bombs. Throughout this latest assault, as well as over the course of the full-scale invasion, Russia’s targets have been civilian objects, infrastructure, residential buildings, and the Ukrainian people. Today, Kyiv faced another attack from Russia, resulting in the destruction of a portion of the Academy of Decorative and Applied Arts, a sports and community hall, and an exhibition center. As of 3 pm local time, 10 people were reported injured. The terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall outside of Moscow on March 22 that killed at least 139 people has sent shockwaves through the country. Following almost 24 hours of silence after the attack, Putin has sought to portray Ukraine as somehow being involved despite the Islamic State taking responsibility, the latest episode in a long campaign by the Kremlin to demonize Ukraine and Ukrainians.

Ukraine NGO Coordination Network (UNCN) needs your help with our Emergency Alert Program. We have an established monitoring system that we try to operate 24/7.  We provide curation, translation, some analysis on the state of alarms and alerts to both in-country and external subscribers.... BUT... The issue is that we struggle to maintain 24/7 coverage with the existing team, and need to recruit and train more people. The burden of gathering and interpreting source data can be high, particularly during major attacks.
