We had the pleasure of giving a presentation at ISOM 25 in Liège, Belgium a special edition of the International Symposium on Olefin Metathesis that also marked the 20th anniversary of the Nobel Prize awarded to Robert H. Grubbs, Richard R. Schrock, and Yves Chauvin for their groundbreaking work in the development of the metathesis method in organic synthesis. As part of the celebration, we proudly awarded two poster prizes to recognize outstanding contributions. At Umicore PMC, we continue to build on this legacy by offering Grubbs Catalysts® at industrial scale, up to multi-ton quantities, enabling innovation from lab to production. Today we shared our half-year results for 2025. We’ve had a solid first half of the year with earnings well up versus the previous year, driven by sustained demand and Group-wide operational efficiency measures within a supportive metal price environment. We had a strong performance in our foundation businesses and a gradual ramp-up of contracts in Battery Cathode Materials.
