This week, we participated in the Breakthrough Energy Summit 2024! The event gathered industry leaders, innovators, policymakers, and more to discuss clean energy as a critical element in reaching the world’s net-zero goals. Bill Gates and former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair were among those who stopped by our booth, where they learned from our CEO, Chris Mowry, about how Type One is planning to bring commercial fusion into the grid within the next decade using optimized stellarator technology. We showcased a demo magnet plate and a 3D-printed model of our upcoming prototype, Infinity One, which will be built in a section of Tennessee Valley Authority's recently retired Bull Run Fossil Plant. The #BESummit2024 took place during the London Climate Action Week, highlighting the importance of including fusion energy in more climate action conversations.
