Innovation is everywhere, but the electricity grid is behind, using mostly technology dating back 100 years. With our advanced AECC conductor technology, the grid can deliver more electricity, more reliably. While delivering our state-of-the-art AECC conductors, we are continuing to innovate so that the grid can live up to the needs of evolving energy systems. Our smart conductor, which debuted at National Grid’s Innovation Day in London, is being developed to allow for better insights, increased efficiency, and ultimately, a better experience for utilities and their customers.

Electricity Delivered Better.
About us
Transmission and distribution systems are the backbone of the world’s power grids and the global energy transition. Yet T&D technology hasn’t significantly changed in more than a century. We cannot operate a 21st century grid with 20th century wires. That’s why TS Conductor was born — because there’s a better way to deliver electricity. Headquartered in California, our award-winning, high-performance conductors are modernizing electricity infrastructure for all. TS Conductor provides a drop-in advanced solution for both reconductoring and new line builds capable of handling 3x ampacity, cutting line losses by as much as 50%, and boasting exceptional strength while nearly eliminating sag, compared to traditional ACSR/ACSS conductors. The TS team and our electric utility partners are unlocking that potential — strengthening grid reliability and resilience, reducing total costs, accelerating grid modernization and decarbonization, and enabling better renewables integration, all while handling new loads from EVs and the Electrify Everything movement. Plus, by using the best materials and technology available, we’ve solved the problems associated with previous generations of advanced conductors. Our conductors are easy to work with, using tools and techniques already familiar to line crews. All of this has made the TS solution one of the most-awarded grid technologies of recent years, including 2023 winner of the CABLE Prize from the U.S. Department of Energy’s American Made challenge, 2023 winner of a Platts Global Energy Award from S&P Global Commodity Insights, 2023 winner of Public Utilities Fortnightly’s inaugural Edison Pioneers Innovation of the Year, and 2024 finalist of BNEF Pioneers. Born in the USA. Made in the USA. Backed by Breakthrough Energy Ventures, NextEra, and National Grid.

A new CA law, SB 1006, directs the state to implement #reconductoring and grid-enhancing technologies (GETs) on the grid, marking a positive step for relieving congestion and enhancing performance and reliability. Reconductoring with TS Conductor’s AECC technology can deliver as much as 3x the power of traditional ACSR conductors, helping to relieve California’s curtailment problem. We are excited to see how SB 1006 improves the efficiency, cost, performance, and capacity of the electricity grid. https://lnkd.in/gRbXRcbX

TS Conductor reposted this
TS Conductor , one of National Grid Partners portfolio companies, recently completed the rigorous type registration process required for vendors to bid on National Grid's transmission projects in the UK. The lightweight design means HV cables can be suspended across greater distances without sagging, reducing the number of pylons required, reducing the cost and time to build new lines, and reducing the impact on our communities and the environment. #NationalGridInnovates https://lnkd.in/e4ntpDbg

Congratulations, Lucas Penido Monteiro, MBA, on your acceptance into the program!
Excited to Share Another Milestone! 🎉 Since moving to the United States, I have been blessed with the privilege of achieving many of my dreams. This month marks another win! I am beyond thrilled to announce that I have started the CLIMB course at Harvard Business School. Studying at such a historic institution is truly an honor, and I am grateful for the opportunity to grow and learn alongside some of the brightest minds from around the world. A huge thank you to TS Conductor for supporting my growth and making this opportunity possible. A special thanks to Jason Huang, rulong chen, and Lorena Davis, SPHR for trusting me with this opportunity, your support means everything! As part of this journey, my capstone project will focus on driving TS Conductor’s success while prioritizing the advancement of reliable energy transmission for society. I am excited to contribute to building a more sustainable and resilient future!🌍

This summer, TS Conductor employees had the opportunity to go the OC Fair and bring their families along. The Fair was a blast, as was the opportunity to get together to have some fun offsite. Can you guess which fair activity was the most popular? #WorkwithTS #OCFair #OCbusiness #TSConductor

It takes more than twice the amount of time to build a new #transmission line as it does to build a new #renewable energy facility. Europe is going all in on renewables and must go all in on top-of-the-line conductor technology to modernize the grid as well. Read CEO Jason Huang’s guest article in Smart Energy International for more on the EU’s grid challenges and the available solutions. #Grid #Europe #Reconductoring #EnergyTransition
Founder & CEO of TS Conductor: award-winning, high-performance conductors made in America to modernize the world’s power grids.
Between 2021 and 2030, the EU plans to triple wind and solar capacity, but the grid infrastructure to support that massive jump isn’t yet available, and much of Europe’s grid is aging like the U.S. While new transmission lines take some 5-15 years to build, #reconductoring with advanced conductor technology like our #AECC conductors can provide triple the capacity helping to relieve bottlenecks in the way of renewables integration. Read more about the challenges on the EU grid and the available solutions in my Smart Energy International Op-ed. https://lnkd.in/gpbxnFz9
