Congratulations to Triton Anchor. So proud of you all.
🏙️🥂 Anchored in Innovation at Our Seaside Summer Reception 🥂🏙️ 🚢 Last Thursday, we boarded the historic Wavertree ship for a remarkable event we hosted in collaboration with Urban Future Lab, NYU Tandon School of Engineering, South Street Seaport Museum and Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in New York. 🌟 We are excited to share the success of a night that celebrated the fusion of innovation, education, and New York City's maritime heritage. The evening kicked off with inspiring words from Captain Jonathan Boulware, President and CEO of the South Street Seaport Museum, Ahmed Dadou, Consul General of The Consulate General of The Kingdom of the Netherlands in New York, and Linda Ng Boyle, Professor of Civil & Urban Engineering and Vice Dean for Research at NYU Tandon School of Engineering. 🎉 Professor Linda Ng Boyle, energized the crowd with her enthusiasm for the 2024 cohort (Boxkite, Claviate, Indeximate, Pliant Energy Systems Inc, Sensatek Propulsion Technology, Inc, Triton Anchor). Fresh out of our in-hub workshops, the cohort brought their passion and innovative spirit to the evening, engaging with attendees and sharing their groundbreaking ideas! She also highlighted that this year marks NYU Tandon School of Engineering's 170th anniversary, celebrating the school’s long standing role in driving innovation and addressing today's most pressing challenges. 🌆💚Thank you to all 170 of you who joined us! The night underscored the importance of collaboration, innovation, and our collective commitment to a sustainable future. As always, we are grateful for the support received from Equinor, whose partnership in our initiative makes evenings like this possible! 📹Check out our recap video highlighting the event's memorable moments! #offshorewind #cleanenergy #renewable #windpower #NYC #sustainableenergy #greenenergy #innovation #technology #startup #entrepreneurship #community #collaboration #UFLInnovatesforClimate #SouthStreetSeaportMuseum #WhereNewYorkBegins
