In Europe alone, the EU Commission has announced a proposal to deploy 40 GW of electrolyzers produced in Europe by 2030 to satisfy a growing demand for green hydrogen – and our team at Herning is working hard to ensure that our SOEC electrolyzers represent a part of this 40 GW. 🌍🚀 Our half-year highlights are here! We broke a new record! 🎉 With 130 teams and over 600 colleagues coming together for DHL Stafetten in the heart of Copenhagen. Our colleagues laced up their running shoes and gave it their all, whether running or walking, showing what it means to bring your A-game. 👊 But this event was about so much more than just the race – it was a celebration of the teamwork that drives us forward and the joy that comes from shared experiences. Entering a new era of refineries 🎆   A refinery in 2050 will not look like the refineries we know today. They will have had to undergo remarkable transformations to meet the challenges of achieving a net-zero future.     CEPSA, a Spanish energy company, is one of the refineries already undergoing this transition. In collaboration with Skovgaard Energy and Vestas, we’ve proudly inaugurated the world's first green ammonia plant in Ramme, Denmark! The plant will demonstrate how renewable power can be coupled directly to an ammonia plant while taking the fluctuations in power production into account, and simultaneously making it a cost-effective way of producing green ammonia. 🌱 With ammonia expected to play a critical role in the world’s journey towards net zero we need more plants like this to help decarbonize industrial processes like steel and cement production as well as long-distance transportation. Our CEO Power-to-X, Kim Hedegaard, says: “With this new facility, we are taking an important step, which will benefit both Denmark and the rest of the world. We need to continue the development of green alternatives for energy-intensive industries and long-distance transportation with research, innovation and action.
