It’s National Back to School Month, and we would like to recognize our incredible interns who recently completed our nine-week Summer Rotational Intern program as they head back to school! 📚   Our interns had an active summer as they learned about the functions and roles of the Underwriting, Claims, and Loss Control departments. To wrap up the program, they gave a successful and informative presentation on the future of AI in insurance.   Thanks to all our interns for their hard work and best of luck as you continue your studies!

Our CEO, Daisuke Ugaeri, and Executive VP, Steve Goldstein, presented about TMA's business initiatives, unique culture, and recent opportunities and challenges.   They also expressed gratitude to our TMNAS colleagues for the support they provide to our company, which has been crucial to our achievements in recent years. It was a great opportunity to reaffirm and strengthen our partnership. 🤝

We're happy to introduce our newest hire, Kobe C., who recently graduated from the University of North Texas and joined our Plano, TX office as our Auto Claims Trainee. Get to know Kobe: Kobe loves to travel to new places around the world, watch new movies, and attend live concerts of his favorite musicians. He also has an adorable yellow labrador named Joey. We are so excited to have Kobe on our team and to see the great things he'll achieve at Tokio Marine America! 

The Good Life, our company's benefits team, took our Jersey City, Plano, and Pasadena employees camping—almost camping!   While we didn't have to put on bug spray or leave the office, our employees enjoyed roasting s'mores, painting rocks, and relaxing in the massage chair at the Good Life Health Fair! Everyone had a fun time and learned about the great wellness and benefit opportunities The Good Life program offers!   Stay tuned for the Health Fair's next stop, where they'll set up 'camp' in our Chicago office.

Welcome to Tokio Marine America, Amanda S.!   Amanda recently joined our Commercial Underwriting Operations team as our Technical Assistant I in Jersey City, NJ. We're thrilled to have her on board and look forward to the fresh ideas and enthusiasm she brings.   Amanda enjoys swimming and spending time with her family and friends. Fun fact: Amanda and her family have spent vacations at Disney every year for the last 24 years.

Great job to everyone who participated in the 2024 Tokio Marine Golf Outing! This year, 51 golfers, consisting of employees from five Tokio Marine Group Companies and their family members, competed for the Anshin Cup. The TM Golf Outing is a perfect opportunity to connect with others across the Group. We established the Tokio Marine Golf Outing in 2007 to bring together TMA departments and promote teamwork and camaraderie. This event became so popular that employees from other Tokio Marine Group Companies and their families joined the fun. Congrats to the Tokio Marine North America Services team, Austin S., Payton R., Matt F., and his father, Rob, who won the Anshin Cup - until next year!
