Today, we're shining a spotlight on Franchise Owners who embody the spirit of freedom, empowerment, and community.
We had the opportunity to speak with Samaria Hunter, MBA, PMP and TC, the Franchise Owners of Toastique Chesapeake, to ask them how their business promotes and celebrates these principles.
𝗦𝗮𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗖:
"Toastique fulfills a dream of business ownership and, most importantly, allows us to combine passions for learning, giving back, and healthy living. As business owners, we intend to leverage our unique position to share the importance of healthy living and business ownership with underserved communities.

As business owners, we constantly navigate decisions to optimize our success and impact. One of the many decisions is the freedom to choose organizations and individuals we work with. We are intentional about partnering and supporting others who are underrepresented in their respective fields to help drive collective success and financial freedom.
𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁
More than being an entrepreneur, we want to help others see the possibilities. Many who are just as capable as us are shut out of franchising opportunities because of the amount of resources required. Through us, they see the possibilities of small business ownership for people who look like them. We have enjoyed being a resource to others interested in pursuing their own franchise opportunities.

We also prioritize partnering with charitable organizations whose missions align with enhancing quality of life and promoting healthy living. In our first nine months of operation, we have supported organizations such as Chesapeake Public Schools and WINKS - With INtentional Kindness and Support, an all-volunteer non-profit supporting brain tumor patients and caregivers that Sam, a brain tumor survivor, founded to pay forward the support she received during her diagnosis."
