Throughout October, Thomas Miller ran a number of different campaigns to support and raise awareness for #WorldHomelessDay, which serves as a platform to advocate for improved policies and funding that can prevent and end homelessness. It also aims to promote visibility regarding the needs of people who currently experience homelessness and support in local communities. Activities included a variety of different employee-led fundraising challenges and volunteer days for our corporate charity partner St Mungo's and also office clothing bank collections across the globe, which in addition to St Mungo's has supported York Street Project (New Jersey, USA), ImpactHK (Hong Kong) and Recycom Greece. Congratulations to Team Thomas Miller for completing the Royal Parks Half - London on 13th October! 🏃♂️ Running 13.1 miles through four of the eight royal parks and London landmarks, the runners represented our corporate charity partner St Mungo's to raise funds aimed at ending homelessness in the UK. This followed #WorldHomelessDay on 10th October that Thomas Miller has been supporting through a number of different campaigns. On Friday 4th October, seven Thomas Miller employees took on the epic challenge of abseiling 160ft freefall from a crane, for our corporate charity partner, St Mungo's, on the lead up to #WorldHomelessDay this week. 🧡 St Mungo's ambition is to make it the last night on the streets for as many people experiencing homelessness as they can, and they work every day and night to help people away from the streets and into a safe and warm place they can call home. Last year, they helped more than 28,000 people across 160 services.
