The Conrail Historical Society, Inc. is a Pennsylvania 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to the preservation of the history of Conrail, the initially government owned railroad that proved to be too successful, went public, and was eventually purchased by Norfolk Southern Corportation and CSX Corporation. The Conrail Historical Society is an all volunteer organization.
