Couldn't be happier to share that I was featured chatting with the talented, Jewel E., about my favorite Denim in Glamour. Gap continued to hit all of the marks for me this season, and their denim being both comfortable & affordable makes it that much better! (Big shout out to The Female Founder Collective for making this connection!) Excited to keep sharing trend insights through The Collection Atelier and grateful for any ongoing opportunities! 🌟 For more trend hot takes, make sure to follow our instagram-- @thecollectionatelier https://lnkd.in/e--WXz_H

DAY 1 RECAP: OSLO RUNWAY. 💙 This week marks the kick-off for the SS25 Oslo Runway. Launched in 2015 as Norway's official fashion week, Oslo Runway was designed to elevate Norwegian fashion to the international stage and provide a platform for emerging designers. Since its inception, the event has expanded significantly, establishing itself as a major event in the Scandinavian fashion calendar. The biannual runway features a diverse array of runway shows, presentations, and exhibitions that showcase both renowned and up-and-coming Norwegian designers. Known for its inclusive approach, Oslo Runway often blends contemporary art and technology into its shows, fostering a community that prioritizes innovation and traditional craftsmanship. As the event continues to evolve, it mirrors the dynamic and environmentally conscious ethos of Norway's fashion industry, highlighting a commitment to sustainability and creative expression. Check our our Trend Round Up: 1. Satin Jacquard Prints- Pajamas as outerwear is nothing new in the world of trends, however Tarinii does this in a fresh new way. XL striped pants juxtaposed to the short in the Geometric print feel like the perfect transition pieces from fall to spring/summer. 2. Cut-It-Out- Cohme Atelier makes cut outs feel fresh and new again. With the side cuts and front underbust exposure- these are sexy while still maintaining glamour and class. Perhaps with a bit of an ode to ROTATE, these looks feel ready for the red carpet. 3. Sweet & Square Necklines- The things I could say about Murlong Cres!!! These dresses are sweet, sexy and the perfect amount of (i don't want to say it but..demure.) I am so glad they are kicking these into production because i would love to line my closet with these to wear all summer long. The open neckline feels perfect to frame and showcase the bust without being overly revealing, and the ties and ruching feel like the perfect detail back.

In honor of the kick off the Paris 2024 #paralympics this Wednesday, we wanted to highlight the Uniforms that reflect a broader commitment to inclusivity and recognize the unique needs of athletes with disabilities, ensuring they can compete at their best without their clothing hindering their performance. #Paralynpic uniforms have greatly improved over time, evolving from basic modifications of standard athletic wear to highly specialized designs. This year’s uniforms, developed in collaboration with Paralympians, focus on accessibility and functionality, incorporating features like magnetic closures, adjustable fits, and breathable fabrics. These are the countries we think, that brought the most innovation, creativity and excitement to the up-incoming Paralympics. 1. Paralympics Australia by R.M.Williams 2. Paralympic Foundation of Canada by lululemon 3. USA by Nike 4. Philippines by Ditta Sandico 5. On August 18th, the Southwestern Association for Indian Arts (SWAIA) #Native Fashion Show in Santa Fe was a stunning celebration of #Indigenous creativity, where traditional craftsmanship met contemporary design. The event highlighted the work of visionary native designers such as Jontay Kahm, Caroline Monnet, Lauren Good Day Inc., Jaime Okuma, ASEP Design. This show, curated by Amber Dawn Bear Robe, not only showcased the incredible talent of these designers but also underscored the importance of representation and community in fashion. Notably, Balmain’s Fall 2024 collection, originally presented at #Parisfashionweek and designed by Olivier Rousteing—a long-time advocate for diversity and inclusion—was featured in the lineup. According to Bear Robe, one of Rousteing’s representatives was so impressed by last year’s show that they helped bring Balmain into this year’s program. From its humble beginnings in 2014 with just four designers and a $200 budget in a Public Park & Models getting ready in a U-Haul, to now being a major platform for diverse and innovative Indigenous fashion, the growth of this event is a testament to the extraordinary talent and creativity within the Native design community. At The Collection Atelier, we are proud supporters of bringing rightful attention and publicity to this incredible Fashion Week with Southwestern Association for Indian Arts (SWAIA), the curation of Amber Dawn Bear Robe, and highlighting the incredible work of these designers. Check them out! 1. Jontay Kahm- https://lnkd.in/eeP_znMb 2. RETAIL NEWS DROP 📰🗞️ Yesterday, the entrepreneurial force behind Spanx, Sara Blakely is once again working to revolutionize the fashion industry with the launch of her latest innovation: Sneex. The launch of Sneex , a “luxury hybrid stiletto,” raises questions about the resurgence of the 2000s sneaker-heel trend. While Blakely’s innovation claims to merge the comfort of a sneaker with the elegance of a stiletto, it begs the question: was this trend ever truly here, and does it deserve a comeback? The #2000s saw a brief flirtation with the idea of sneaker-heels, but it never fully took hold, largely because the fusion felt neither practical nor aesthetically pleasing to the general consumer. Sneex seems to bet on nostalgia, novelty and above all, comfort in an evolving fashion landscape that increasingly values authenticity and practicality. Similarly to how UGG or Crocs were original received and have gone on to become billion dollar businesses—we are eagerly intrigued to seehow Sneex continues to evolve and be viewed as time goes on. What do you think? Would you purchase Sneex?
