Hanna Institute led an inspiring all-staff training for our own team at Hanna Center on Trauma-Informed Care (TIC). We value the principles of TIC in all of our direct services and want everyone to feel fluent in the terms and tactics. The event culminated in a powerful panel of long-time staff sharing their experiences in implementing TIC. 📢BIG NEWS!📢 We are thrilled to announce the launch of a course that has been in the works for over a year. Trauma-Equipped Training is a credentialing course made especially for Head Start California by our team here at Hanna Institute. The course teaches early childhood professionals practical tools to maintain a grounded and supportive learning space. Participants will learn how to integrate self-care into daily life, how to calm down dysregulated children, and how to support families and colleagues. "I've learned how to build trust and connect with my team," and "I enjoyed every lesson and gained a lot of skills to de-stress," is just some of the positive feedback we have heard so far. For the next two weeks, Head Start California members will receive a 10% discount on the course, which is made of 20-minute modules that you can take at your own pace. #hannainstitute #resiliencetraining #headstartca #hannacenter
