Greetings, Sandwich! We're writing with a double dose of news from the Corner House Restaurant and Bar. Firstly, we're OPEN tonight from 4pm to 9pm! Come on down and enjoy the cool comfort of our air conditioning, refreshing drinks, and delicious, freshly prepared food. Secondly, an update on our signage: As some of you may know, we recently presented our case for a new sign for the side of the building at the Historical Society hearing. Unfortunately, due to the Fischer Doctrine, our application wasn't heard. We're a bit disappointed, but not deterred! We'll be back next month with a revised application, aiming for "fifth time's the charm." While the sign may be taking a bit longer, the Corner House spirit remains strong! This historic building is celebrating its 175th anniversary this year, and we're proud to be a part of Sandwich's rich history. Looking ahead to tomorrow night (July 19th): Join us in the pub for live music with the Starlight Honeys from 6pm to 9pm. It's the perfect opportunity to unwind, enjoy some delicious food and drinks, and soak up the atmosphere of this historic landmark.
