  • Throughout the summer, we have been actively engaged in ensuring that we remain a valuable asset to the communities we serve, providing easy access to high-quality behavioral care. In the recent month, some members of our team involved in business development took part in resource fairs like the White Oak Resource Fair in McHenry County and at John Jay Elementary School in Mount Prospect. We were delighted to have been invited and had the pleasure of interacting with numerous families, individuals, and community leaders from various organizations in attendance.

  • Public libraries provide a comforting and tranquil setting for individuals and families facing mental health challenges. Our aim is to eliminate obstacles that impede access to high-quality behavioral healthcare by educating the community about when to seek help and how to select the most suitable behavioral health services for their needs. We take pride in our new partnerships in the areas of Addison, Wheaton, Glendale Heights, Elgin, and many more areas to come! #CommunityPartnerships

  • During our collaboration with the Boys & Girls Club, we have been actively delivering presentations on various subjects like bullying, anger management, and healthy ways for children to express their feelings. Our Lead Therapist, Will Darzin, focused on addressing bullying and anger management with the children. Using enjoyable activities and scenarios, Will guided the kids in identifying instances of bullying and understanding different levels of anger. Through group discussions, the children learned how to communicate their emotions effectively and explore healthy ways to manage their anger. Lead Therapist Yesica Davila also contributed by leading activities on emotional regulation, incorporating fun games and icebreakers. By discussing colors associated with emotions, the children were able to express their feelings and discuss the situations triggering specific emotions. Assistant Director of Clinical Services, Dr. Edgeson-Steiner, organized therapeutic group activities that allowed the children to express their emotions through music and enjoyable games. These activities focused on distinguishing between feelings of excitement, disgust, and anxiety. We are grateful to the Boys & Girls Club for the partnership!
