We were thrilled to celebrate the achievements of so many of our learners like Marcela Hommefoss, last night at our first ever ConnectED event. Thank you for joining us, and letting Stanford Online be a part of your journey!
Enlightening and extremely enjoyable experience I had last year while studying the program Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies through Stanford Online . Today, I am thrilled celebrating together with my son this achievement here at Stanford campus, Jen-Hsun Huang Engineering Center, during the ConnectED 2024 event that the fantastic program team have organized for us 🙌🏻❤️ This program allowed me to redirect my professional path, and starting from scratch it took my energy and sustainability education to the next level! 💥 The faculty experts from the Stanford University School of Engineering and Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability shared their knowledge in cutting-edge energy solutions through different courses such as clean, renewable energy and storage, strategies for sustainability, economics of the clean energy transition and transforming the grid. A heartfelt thank you 🙏🏻 for sharpening my understanding and skyrocketing my enthusiasm towards sustainable futures! 😀 AND Such an honor to have met professor Mark Jacobson ! Your lectures allow any professional understand that the green transition is possible and be optimistic about; if we only work hard towards it💪🏻 All this learning aligning and linking nicely with my new job at the Rainforest Foundation ☺️🌎🙌🏻.. “if we want to solve the climate crisis, we have to save the rainforest!” #ConnectED2024 #StanfordConnectED #sustainablefuture #SavetheAmazonRainforest
