What an honor to attend the Social Innovation Summit with key partners and colleagues in Chicago! We got to hear from exciting leaders (including Al Roker, Colton Underwood and many others). The highlight was diving deeper into Corporate-NGO partnerships to make an impact on climate change, biodiversity, and healthy communities. Last week, I was honored to represent the Redstone Family Foundation by speaking on a panel at the Social Innovation Summit alongside two brilliant leaders-- Lara Littlefield, Executive Director for Partnerships and Programs at the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation, and Katherine F. Pickus, Vice President - Sustainability and Global Impact at Tyson Foods, who moderated the conversation. Together, we discussed the power of private philanthropy and how our respective organizations drive meaningful change. I was particularly proud to highlight our partnerships with the Boston YMCA's Building Togetherness Program and American Jewish Committee (AJC) Atlanta's Black & Jewish Teen Initiative - two amazing programs that are fostering unity and building cross-cultural understanding and relationships for young people from preschool to high school. Events such as the Social Innovation Summit remind me how lucky I am to work in the philanthropic space. It was incredible to see and hear from so many people around the country dedicated to social impact and change. For those of you who want to watch the panel, I have included the link:https://lnkd.in/etWhNXu6 #SIS24 #SocialInnovationSummit

Was thrilled to take #CoffeewithKen on the road for a timely conversation with State of Illinois Governor, JB Pritzker, during the Social Innovation Summit. The Governor shared his efforts to win and attract businesses to the State and the large investments in Quantum Computing, Bio-Manufacturing, Film and other sectors. We also heard more about the upcoming Democratic National Committee Convention and what we need to do improve our politics and protect our Democracy. Video will be live on our website on Thursday! Big thanks to my fellow American University Eagle, Anne Caprara, for making this happen! She’s a #coffeewithken veteran!

The honor was ours, Tiffanie Boyd! Many thanks to our partner McDonald's for helping bring this conversation with Tiffanie, Kendall Hurns, and Daryl Brewster to life at #SIS24.
This week at the Social Innovation Summit, I had the honor of sharing the main stage with former McDonald’s crew member turned creative entrepreneur, Kendall Hurns! We had a wide-ranging conversation on how companies have the power to drive social impact at scale and how McDonald's is bringing this to life every day through our community partnerships and education programs for the #1in8 Americans who make McDonald’s a part of their career journey. I have a fundamental belief in the power of work to provide meaning in people's lives. Gatherings like the Social Innovation Summit showcase how companies and community partners can make a difference together! A special shoutout to Daryl Brewster for moderating our fireside chat and to the members of my team who joined in on the fun! #SIS24

Today on the main stage at the Social Innovation Summit in Chicago, I joined three fierce female leaders, Amanda Lenaghan (Cruise) Valerie Lefler (Feonix - Mobility Rising) and Dr. EV Shelley (EVNoire) for an important discussion on building equitable and inclusive mobility. Such good energy from the over 1,200 social change agents in the room representing private, nonprofit and public sectors. So glad to see so many familiar faces and make new connections Howard A. We were honored to welcome Dr. Chelsea Clinton to the #SIS24 stage this afternoon. Dr. Clinton shared insights into her work with The Clinton Foundation and the work she's most excited about this year. “The one thing I want to be explicit about is that I want everyone to vote. I hope companies give time off to vote. We have early voting in New York City, in some places there are mail-in ballots. But in some places you still have to show up on Election Day. I would truly hope — agnostic of political party or affiliation — that you exercise your right to vote in state and local elections, as well as federal.”
