We're proud to preview America Gives — a nationwide effort building on America’s legacy of giving back to reinvigorate a year-round culture of service and make 2026 the largest-ever year of service in history in honor of our nation's 250th anniversary. Through charitable giving, volunteering, and public service - including military service, we can carry on this legacy and instill this tradition for generations to come. 🤝 With support from Founding Sponsor Walmart and a diverse set of Founding Partners, we will work together to engage a broad network of communities and organizations across the country. As we have enjoyed this long #LaborDay weekend, we remember the true spirit of Labor Day—a celebration of American workers’ hard work and dedication. Born out of the 19th-century labor movement, it honors the fight for fair wages, safer working conditions, and a better work-life balance.    To all those, past and present, who have contributed to our nation's prosperity—thank you. We hope everyone has a safe and happy Labor Day!

Exceptional work is rarely the result of a single person. It takes a village of dedicated team players, each bringing their unique skills and perspectives to the table, to create something truly impactful. Special thanks to the incredible team of writers and coaches who made last week's Democratic Convention unforgettable.

The most rewarding projects, like the best speeches, are always collaborations. The speed, scrutiny, and stakes of a national political convention demand even greater levels of seamless, supportive teamwork. For months leading into a sleepless week in Chicago, that’s what happened. Producers brainstormed with writers, writers connected with speakers, researchers triple-checked drafts, and delivery coaches made sure every word was heard the right way. A million other logistics, from the teleprompters to the interstitial videos to the handheld signs, had to synchronize on live television. The lion’s share of credit for this year’s Democratic Convention belongs to the 200+ speakers from both sides of the aisle who shared their stories with the country – some with heavy hearts, some with comedic timing, some for the first time – united in the belief that we need to elect Kamala Harris and chart a new way forward. I’m grateful to them, and for the chance to join forces with dear friends whose immense talents I deeply respect. If you found any joy, inspiration, or motivation in the words you heard, it’s thanks to my closest collaborators in co-managing the Writers’ Room (Sarada Peri, Andy Barr, and Ben Krauss), our digital partners (Lindsay Holst, Kori Schulman, and Tanya Somanader), and our all-star cast of writers and coaches. What a privilege to play on the same team.

After an exhilarating week in Chicago, a big round of applause to our inspiring clients who spoke at the DNC! We truly work with the best of the best: Vice President Kamala Harris, President Joe Biden, First Lady Jill Biden, Governor Wes Moore, Senator Mark Kelly, Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, Congressman Ruben Gallego, Congressman Tom Suozzi, State Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta, Cincinnati Mayor Aftab Pureval, and NAACP President Derrick Johnson. And now, on to victory in November! 🗳 🇺🇸 🔵 🌊

CEO Doug Thornell joined MSNBC's Chris Jansing Reports on the final night of the 2024 Democratic National Convention. Doug expertly laid out the core responsibilities every political candidate must embrace when running for office: 1️⃣ Craft a compelling story: Never assume voters already know you; tell your story authentically and purposefully. 2️⃣ Draw clear contrasts: Highlight how you stand apart from your opponent. Voters need to see what makes you the better choice. 3️⃣ Stay voter-centric: Always connect your policies and actions back to the needs and aspirations of the people you seek to serve. Last night, Vice President Harris delivered and exemplified each principle expertly!
