LUXE WATERFRONT RESIDENCES CHANGE THE LANDSCAPE Bringing sophisticated style to the iconic Intracoastal waterway, Nautilus 220 is prepping to open its doors in Spring 2025. With luxury resort style living, exceptional views, and an entertaining array of on-site amenities, every day will feel like a vacation. Directly located between West Palm Beach and Jupiter, Nautilus 220 features over 300 waterfront residences ranging from 1,500 to 3,400 square feet, a pool, wellness center, shops, cafes, and a wide variety of sports and recreational activities. It will also be home to world-renowned Chef David Burke’s newest fine dining experience, ‘SeaHawk Prime.’ Simmons & White provided the development team with civil and traffic engineering services from initial due diligence through the entitlement process with the Town of Lake Park. Services included stormwater management analysis and modeling, traffic analysis and reports, utility service planning, modeling and design, AutoTurn and access analyses, construction plan preparation and permitting, as well as continued services during construction. While the infill development and maximum utilization of the property presented multiple design challenges, we coordinated with the development team and governing agencies to provide cost effective solutions while meeting regulatory requirements.

Simmons & White participated in The Citadel’s Fall 2024 Civil and Construction Career Fair held on Tuesday, Oct. 22 in Charleston, SC! The School of Engineering is ranked in the Top 20 undergraduate programs in the nation, shaping some of the best and brightest in the civil and construction industries. Senior Project Manager and Citadel Alum Cody Floyd, P.E. (3rd from right) was on campus to network with students and showcase the great opportunities that await post graduation.

On Monday, Aug. 5, The King’s Academy celebrated the Grand Opening of the Frank DiMino Early Childhood Center in West Palm Beach! 🎉 Simmons & White is a part of the dynamic design team that brought this project to life alongside Hedrick Brothers Construction, Loveland Electric, Urban Design Studio, and Inter-Plan Architects. Team members Greg Bolen, Kyle Duncan, and Daniel Cole attended the ceremonial ribbon cutting for this state-of-the-art facility that will provide an engaging environment for 200 children, ages 2 to 4, to learn and grow. Celebrating their 55th year, The King’s Academy also serves more than 1,700 K-12 students in Palm Beach County and is a National Blue-Ribbon School for Excellence in Education. @tkawpb

Now Open! 🎉 This previous four-way stop at Fairchild Gardens Avenue and Fairchild Avenue in the City of Palm Beach Gardens was converted into a roundabout this summer, improving traffic flow and safety for both motorists and pedestrians. Simmons & White provided expedited demolition, roadway, pavement marking & signing, and stormwater pollution prevention plans so work could be completed during the off-season, minimizing impacts to the community. Construction began in mid-June, with the new roundabout open before the end of July! 👏

One of the most scenic places to beat the summer heat in northern Palm Beach County is the North Palm Beach Country Club! ⛳️🎾🌴 Located along US 1 and the Intracoastal Waterway, the Club is open to the public and provides a wide range of activities to enjoy with family and friends. Simmons & White supported the project team on this expansive renovation by providing paving, drainage, water and wastewater design services, permitting coordination with local agencies, and construction support services.

Congratulations to Tricia Barr and her horse, Party Started, who swept the Championships during both weeks of the Aiken Summer Classic Horse Show series in the Adult Amateur Hunter 50 & Over Division!! 🎉🏆🎉 They ended the prestigious horse show series capturing the 🥇Grand Champion Adult Amateur Hunter (all ages), and winning the 🥇Adult Classic (out of 25 entries). 🐎 Tricia has been a Wellington, FL resident for 20 years and specializes in traffic signal and traffic operation design at Simmons and White, Inc.

Last week The Citadel Club of the Palm Beaches and Treasure Coast held their “cadet sendoff” meeting at the offices of Simmons and White. New club president and SW Project Engineer Eric Vettel, E.I. (’21) led a great night that included special guest speaker Jay Dowd, President and CEO of The Citadel Foundation. Guests included three recent graduates (and their parents) from local high schools who will be entering their freshman year at The Citadel this fall. They were able to ask the club members a variety of questions on campus life to ease their nerves for the upcoming school year. Special thanks to dinner hosts Dean Levalley and his son, Zac Levalley (’20), and to Jay for making the trip down from Charleston. Before he headed back to South Carolina, he was able to spend some time with Rob on a successful inshore snapper trip. 🎣 #citadelalumni
