We design & deliver inclusive, anti-bias, rigorous approaches, removing gaps between children's potential & achievement.

About us

Our mission is to focus early learning on what matters most - inside classrooms, in partnership with families, and across organizations - to close the achievement gap. All of the Shine Early Learning tools and approaches were developed, implemented, and refined at Acelero Learning, a high-performing Head Start and Early Head Start program serving more than 4,400 children across the nation. Through the integrated implementation of these tools, Acelero Learning has produced some of the largest child outcome gains ever recorded at an individual Head Start program. Acelero Learning's latest evaluation data shows children served for two years making twice the gain of average Head Start program, as compared to the 2009 FACES data. Shine Early Learning is committed to proving that every child can succeed at the highest levels – and that high-impact, proven approaches can help early childhood programs across the country truly make the difference in a child's life. Shine Early Learning offers dedicated resources, high-impact tools, and our new Shine Insight data system to help Head Start and early education programs reach their own ambitious goals.

Meet Rhonda Kobylecky, Food Service Director at our parent organization, Acelero, Inc. Rhonda was recently highlighted by the National CACFP Sponsors Association (NCA), a leading national organization providing support to thousands within the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) community. She started her career as a cook in a Head Start kitchen, quickly discovering her passion for CACFP compliance. Rhonda is dedicated and driven to oversee and help her team feed over 4,000 children a day. She understands that some children struggle to get food at home, which inspires her even more to keep going. Her dedication goes beyond feeding children; she’s passionate about supporting families and closing the achievement gap. Her commitment to quality in CACFP has made her an invaluable contributor and leader to Acelero, Inc., and a true advocate for low-income families. We're so grateful for her dedication and commitment. #AceleroInc #EmployeeSpotlight Read more about Rhonda here: https://hubs.ly/Q02JMZZL0.

As SLI concluded last week, we've gained so much from our time together. A highlight was learning from our keynote speaker, Anaiya McGrue, Health Disabilities Advocate at Acelero Learning Clark County. Anaiya shared her incredible journey from starting as a child in the Acelero program to becoming a dedicated advocate. She spoke about her experiences volunteering at a young age, pursuing education in early childhood, and progressing through various roles at Acelero. Her story of growth, education, and dedication to the community embodies the theme of being and becoming. Thank you, Anaiya, for inspiring us all with your passion and commitment.

Earlier this week we gathered in Philadelphia for our annual Senior Leadership Institute (SLI) Conference. SLI brings our leaders together for learning, community-building, and re-connection. This year's SLI theme is "Being and Becoming", where our focus was on strengthening our current state of being as individuals, team, and as an organization so that we may become who we aspire to be. Throughout our time together, we dove into professional development sessions focused on leadership skills and behaviors that align with our company's values. #Acelero,Inc. #AceleroLearning #ShineEarlyLearning #SLI24

Today, we honor Juneteenth—a celebration of freedom and a call for justice and equality. Also known as Freedom Day, this day marks the emancipation of the last remaining enslaved African Americans in the Confederacy on June 19, 1865, and provides a chance to delve into the often overlooked aspects of U.S. history. It's a day to celebrate and deeply appreciate African American history. Together, we can build a future rooted in equality for all. Happy Juneteenth!
