After 6 months of hard work and dedication, seven teams from our global business units submitted their groundbreaking ideas. Staff Service Group from the Japanese capital Tokyo and Staffmark Group from Cincinnati, USA were crowned joint winners of the competition.   Angela Ashwell 🌱, Global Head of Talent, Executive Coaching, Performance and Inclusion led the initiative: “The CEO Challenge is a talent development program for our senior leaders and future executives. The 19-year-old Japanese student Riku lives with Ullrich Congenital Muscular Dystrophy and chronic respiratory failure. In Japan, many students with disabilities often face significant barriers when transitioning from school to the workforce. Riku demonstrates that, whilst the journey towards finding a suitable job can be challenging, it is far from impossible. Riku's story is one of resilience, determination and hope: “The Online Job Experience Program through RGF Connect – Recruit Staffing Crafts taught me essential workplace skills, such as communication and task management, which gave me the confidence I needed to work from home. In the end, the program renewed my hope for a more financially stable and healthier future. Connecting with colleagues from all over Japan makes me feel like I'm part of something bigger.” For Riku, his journey is just beginning. RGF Staffing Belgium has won the Trends Impact Award for the most sustainable company in the ‘Diversity & Inclusion’ category for Large Companies. It is a special appreciation for the RGF Connect project HEAR2WORK. This program is about guiding candidates with a hearing impairment into employment. Due to huge obstacles, many people with disabilities in Japan give up working while they are young. At RECRUIT STAFFING CO.,LTD., we want to change that and break the barriers this group faces when trying to enter the labor market.
