⭐ Meet the Team Tuesday ⭐ This month’s Meet the Team Tuesday spotlights Mrs. Jamie Bennett Thomas! September marks 24 years in the Defense Contracting world for Jamie where she has honed her skills in Proposal Pricing and Contracting with experience in Business Development, Capture, Program Control, and Compliance. Alongside her professional journey, Jamie has dedicated the last 7 years as the President of Amelia’s Closet, a local non-profit that spreads hope through diaper distribution. In 2017, Jamie founded Amelia’s Closet, a 501c3 non-profit that collects and distributes all sizes of diapers year around throughout the community. Driven by a passion sparked during her volunteer and mission work, Jamie has built Amelia’s Closet into a vital resource, supporting 14+ nonprofit groups in our community with diapers, averaging 10,000 diapers given out each month. Each diaper is labeled with a hand-written message of hope, prayed over, and packaged with care. Jamie is a true Madison County native, with roots stretching back three generations. She is happily married to her husband, Carl, and they will celebrate 20 years of marriage this month! Jamie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and an Associate of Biblical Studies. Jamie was drawn to RSi after witnessing the integrity and hard work that Mo and Niko embodied, which have become the cornerstones of the company. 🌟 Meet the Team Tuesday Meet Christopher Carney, a dedicated aviation expert with an impressive 44 years of experience, including 17 years in the US Army. Born in Germany, where his father served with the 11th Airborne Division, Chris grew up as an Army kid in Syracuse, New York. In 1976, he joined the Army as an Infantryman with the 82d Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. By 1980, Chris re-enlisted for Aviation, mastering the maintenance of UH-1H Huey helicopters at Fort Rucker, Alabama, and subsequently working on Hueys in Germany and Fort Bragg until 1991. He then transitioned to UH-60A Blackhawk helicopters, serving in Honduras and again at Fort Bragg, before retiring in 1996 to embark on a career in defense contracting. Chris's contracting career has taken him across the globe, including Central and South America, Kuwait, Jordan, and Iraq. Notably, he attended the MI-17/MI-171 Russian helicopter course in Kremenchug, Ukraine, in 2007, and served as an advisor to the Iraqi Army Aviation wing and their MI-17 helicopter fleet in Iraq for seven years. Chris also spent time in Fort Eustis, Virginia, where he maintained helicopter training devices for US Army recruits, and at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Panama City Beach, Florida, working on US Navy MH-60S Blackhawks for Anti Mine Counter Measure equipment testing. Currently, he is at Fort Moore, Georgia, with Team RSi, supporting the 4th Ranger Training Battalion and Medevac UH-60L helicopters as a Technical Inspector (TI). Chris's passion for aviation and flying has been a lifelong pursuit, one he intends to continue as long as possible. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing and model building, focusing on 1/35th scale armored vehicles and figures, 1/48th scale aircraft, and 1/24th-1/25th scale cars and trucks, with a particular interest in World War II armored vehicles. Chris's extensive experience and dedication make him an invaluable member of #TeamRSi #MeettheTeam
