With Piper the AI SDR and Qualified, Greenhouse Software increased meetings booked by 130% quarter over quarter 🎉 Greenhouse struggled to generate quality pipeline with their previous solution. After seeing success with Qualified, Greenhouse hired Piper the AI SDR to scale their existing inbound motion, leading to 130% increase in meetings booked quarter over quarter. 💪 The Challenge Prior to using Qualified, Greenhouse previous solution struggled to integrate correctly with the rest of their tech stack. The routing issues and lack of support this caused left them looking for other vendors. Kristina and her team saw immediate improvements after switching, seeing tangible results with Qualified in just the first two months live: 91% increase in meetings booked, $4.2M pipeline influenced by Qualified, and 2X ROI. When Piper the AI SDR was announced in April 2024, Greenhouse was ready to go all in. 🫰 The Solution After hiring Piper, their team took a crawl, walk run approach, working with their Qualified Success Architect. They trained Piper on all of Greenhouse’s content from the website, and tested her with questions gathered from sales leadership. Piper was slowly rolled out on a few experiences on Greenhouse’s site, and after seeing how effective she was at engaging and answering questions, was rolled out widely. Now, Piper works as the front-line of engagement across Greenhouse’s site. She proactively engages visitors, answers questions, and books meetings around the clock. In just the first week live, Piper started delivering results. Greenhouse saw 50%-70% conversion with Piper from inbound chat to booked meeting month over month. Having tried other AI agents in the market, their Sr. Growth Marketing Manager, Kristina Finseth, knows what makes Piper different: “Piper can bring all of the context of the lead’s activity on our website, connection into our tech stack, and use that to personalize outreach and follow-up. It’s going to be a game-changer.” 💰 The Results Greenhouse has seen massive results from switching to Qualified, and hiring Piper the AI SDR to scale their inbound efforts. In the first two months after switching, Greenhouse saw: 📆 91% increase in meetings booked 📈 $4.2M pipeline influenced 💸 2X ROI After hiring Piper the AI SDR, Greenhouse scaled their entire inbound motion, increasing conversion and meetings booked. In the first two months live with Piper, Greenhouse saw a 130% quarter over quarter increase in meetings booked.

The pace of change in technology is relentless. The AI Era is bringing so much rapid change to the business world that at times it can feel daunting. In less than two years, we have watched every aspect of work–our technology, our insights, and our processes–shift right before our eyes. But rapid technology innovation is nothing new. To understand how we got here, we must look back at the different tech revolutions that have shaped the industry. As each era arrived, jobs were disrupted. For instance, in the Social Era, we saw the journalism profession radically shift. At the start, it might have felt like journalists would be irrelevant due to social media’s ability to allow almost anyone to disseminate “news.” But now, we know the role didn’t disappear, it evolved. We have journalists from massive news outlets releasing quick updates on TikTok or Instagram Live. Not only did the journalism role evolve, social media gave birth to entirely new career paths: Influencers and Creators. Something similar happened in the Internet of Things Era, but this time with drivers. Consumer apps like Uber, Lyft, and DoorDash flooded the market, forever evolving the roles of cab and delivery drivers. So, here we are in the AI Era, and we keep hearing, “AI will take jobs.” And the truth is, it will. Its existence will make some roles redundant. But, just like with every other era, it will also birth new roles we can’t yet fathom and evolve current roles into something much bigger. We're in the early days of this era, but we're excited about the future. Continue reading the Rise of the AI Workforce here: https://bit.ly/3C5wHrI

What do marketers need to know about how AI SDRs work? Our co-founder, Sean Whiteley, and VP of Demand Gen, Sarah McConnell sat down on The AI SDR Movement to dive into the tech that drives AI SDRs like Piper and what's actually happening behind the scenes. 1️⃣ AI SDRs are built on a foundation of your data. In order to effectively perform all of the tasks necessary for a successful SDR, AI SDRs have to be able to access a wide range of data including your CRM, marketing automation platforms, and company knowledge bases. They also have to be able to analyze the data and recall it perfectly in seconds. 2️⃣ AI SDRs go so far beyond generic AI capabilities like ChatGPT. LLMs are impressive and certainly have their place in the market, but AI SDRs require a specialization and expertise in your business. This means they can be trained on your specific data and they learn as they go. 3️⃣ Building trust and transparency is essential for successful adoption. Everyone is concerned about data safety when it comes to implementing AI into their businesses. We’re focused on giving our buyers moderation features, full control over rules of engagement, and explainability mechanisms that ensure AI SDRs stick to their boundaries. With so many AI SDRs hitting the market, it’s important to understand exactly what the role of these AI workers is and the capabilities they need to have in order to be worth the investment. If you’re considering onboarding an Inbound AI SDR, there are a few features you should make sure any autonomous agent you evaluate has. 1️⃣ Robust onboarding and training capabilities–you need to be able to train and coach your AI SDR just like your human reps. 2️⃣ A way to set goals for your AI SDR. Engagement isn’t enough, they need to know where they’re driving your buyers to. 3️⃣ Integration into your CRM for lead visibility so they can accurately qualify and route buyers. 4️⃣ Holistic insight into all of your data systems–without unified visibility, your AI SDR can’t quickly and accurately identify target accounts. 5️⃣ To fully be able to take on the role of an inbound SDR, an AI SDR has to be able to follow up via email and nurture leads without any human oversight. 6️⃣ AI SDRs need to engage buyers in real-time conversations right on the website and they have to be able to do it at scale, working multiple leads at once. 7️⃣ AI SDRs have to be able to understand the content available on your website and offer them up intelligently at exactly the right now. 8️⃣ Once they’ve engaged your buyers, AI SDRs need to be able to book meetings with the right rep in just a few clicks. 9️⃣ When it’s time to talk to a human rep for a more nuanced conversation, the hand off has to be seamless and quick. 🔟 Your AI SDR needs to be able to document everything that’s happened with each account and track the activity in your CRM. You can hear our CMO, Maura Rivera and our VP of Demand Gen, Sarah McConnell, break down these key job requirements here ⬇️ https://lnkd.in/g95JJuf8

AI SDRs like Piper aren’t a one size fits all solution–every team has unique motions that require different strategies for support. Demandbase is a great example of where Piper makes sense to help augment your human SDR team and provide support they desperately need in order to focus on discovery calls without missing pipeline on the website. They’d already seen success with Qualified, so they decided to double-down and implement Piper the AI SDR across their site, offloading a significant amount of front line work from their human rep’s plates. Piper was able to: ✅ Proactively engage target accounts on the website ✅ Eliminate wait times for buyers to get answers to FAQs ✅ Hand off VIP accounts to human reps for more nuanced conversations The results? In the first 2 months of implementing Piper:  ✨ 2x increase in pipeline ✨ 3X conversion to meetings compared to human SDRs ✨ 37% increase in meetings with Tier 1 target accounts  ✨ 100 hours saved per month of SDR time ✨ $80,000 cost savings in headcount These stories are why we’re so excited about Piper the AI SDR. The future of inbound pipeline generation is automated and results like this demonstrate the power of quick, efficient, and conversational buyer engagement around the clock.
