    I started a new job six months ago and encountered challenges with one of my direct reports. She has a history of aggressive behavior, which she openly bragged about during our first meeting. Despite her being with the company for over two years and even receiving a promotion, her performance issues remain unaddressed due to fear of provoking her further. Efforts to provide feedback have been met with hostility, and neither HR nor my manager have offered adequate support. I’ve arranged for HR to join in our next one-on-one meeting to discuss her performance and behavior. However, I’m concerned this may escalate her aggressiveness even more.
