The recent publication of VantageScore® historical data marks a significant milestone in the industry-wide credit score initiative. With the VantageScore historical data now available, we all hope that FICO will follow suit. This development is a crucial enabler to help the industry prepare for the substantial changes ahead. If you haven't yet, be sure to watch PPG's "Keeping Score" interview with Dallin Merrill of the SFA, where we delve into the data underlying credit scores and discuss the importance of this historical data.

What really is a Social Bond? A Green Bond? Our MISMO ESG Community of Practice is trying to help clarify that - we have published an E&S Data Reference Guide for public comment! We would love your comments by July 27th - below is the LINK to access our materials. https://lnkd.in/eV9bpU2G Our ESG Community of Practice (CoP) was established to discuss the effects of ESG investing on the mortgage industry and our member organizations. Using MISMO’s unique expertise in industry data standards, the CoP focused on identifying data elements in the MISMO standard that could be leveraged to enable lenders, investors, and trading partners to utilize ESG information. The conversation was initially prompted by participants’ desire to create and sell pools or securities that could credibly be labeled as “environmental” or "social" and progressed into a discussion of which data already in use in the industry could be used to discuss and define ESG investing. Please check it out and give us your comments, or let me know if you'd like to get involved in our Community of Practice!

Martha-Rosalind Stainton was joined by fellow PPG'ers David Hays, Stephen (Guim) Barbour, Joe Averbach, and Michelle Thomas on the team supporting the historic UMBS implementation. All of the challenges and victories along the way, and the camaraderie with our teammates from Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae make it an experience we'll never forget!
Happy Birthday, UMBS! Yesterday the Uniform Mortgage-Backed Security turned five. While I'm proud to have played a small part in the successful implementation, what I will most remember is the fantastic team I was honored to work with to make it happen. I can't name them all, but I'll just shout out to some of our Freddie Mac friends - Mark Hanson, Barbara Pak, Jamie Miller, Kathleen (Morford) Reuther, Ethel Chun (Ng), Amandeep Basi, Louis Perwien, CFA, Molly Moriarty, Brian Bosak, Bill Abdo, Immanuel Samuel, Aravind Jagannathan and so many more. Thanks for the experience, for the memories and for letting me and my team be part of something so special! https://lnkd.in/ePhgccit
