Summer wedding season is here, and Poshmark is seeing a rise in brides and wedding guests saying "I Do" to secondhand bridal style. 💍 Daily Mail spoke with three brides and bridesmaids who shopped for wedding outfits on Poshmark. ✨ Emily (@emilyevans171) bought pieces for her bridal celebrations on Poshmark as her "something borrowed", including a SELF-PORTRAIT engagement party dress, an Outdoor Voices bachelorette outfit, and a Retrofête dress for late-night dancing. ✨ Daniella (@daniella12345) found the exact dress the bride requested for all her bridesmaids: a Show Me Your Mumu dress in the champagne color, already perfectly hemmed to Daniella's height. ✨ Victoria (@vicmarcant) is selling most of the dresses that she wore for her wedding related events, including a Carolina Herrera mini dress, and recommends resale for others. When Manish Chandra and his co-founders set out to build Poshmark in 2011, they shared a vision to reinvent how people buy and sell fashion: "it's going to be social, it's going to be something anyone can use, and it's going to be mobile." Faced with the task of recalibrating consumer behavior to embrace mobile-first shopping and selling, Poshmark's founders identified a solution: in-person events.
