Erika Ludwig Burk, DBA MBA, Chief Human Resources Officer at PCNA, recently returned from a trip to Germany where she joined Barbara Frenkel, Member of the Executive Board, Porsche AG for a candid chat about navigating opportunities in the workforce as a woman for the final episode of Barbara's video series, 'Women who move Porsche.' The conversation took place behind the wheel of the all new electric #Macan - a fitting scene for the pair who discuss the importance of navigating opportunities to prosper in both personal and professional settings.    Hear more about their recent collaboration to realize the vision of hosting the first ever #Porsche Global Women's Leadership Summit and more: https://lnkd.in/eKPFebfj #DrivenByDreams #DrivenWomen #WomenInAutomotive

“You can have it all – you can have a career, you can have a family, and you can have a great life!”   Erika Ludwig Burk, DBA MBA is Chief Human Resources Officer at Porsche Cars North America. In the final episode of my ‘Women who move Porsche’ series, Erika and I took a drive in the brand-new, all-electric Macan and talked about the topic of diversity, as well as the challenges she’s faced in her career and how she’s overcome them.   When she lived abroad in Germany and Switzerland, Erika learned a foreign language, which she described as giving her another window from which to look at the world. It opened so many doors to her professionally. 🌍   As a mother who studied for a PhD, started her own business and established a family, I asked Erika how she manages to find the time, space and balance for herself in challenging periods, as well as how she overcomes doubt and negative thoughts.   “Sometimes I went to mentors, friends, my husband or my twin sister. They’d give me a nice pep talk, maybe even a little bit of an ego boost, and that little extra push that I needed. It always helps to have people in your corner!” 🥊   Finally, we spoke about finding intellectual stimulation from topics outside of your work. I was surprised but excited to hear about Erika and her husband’s new hobby! 🐝   Thank you, Erika, for the wonderful discussion and the many insights into how you build a career while having a family. And thank you once again to all the inspirational women that I’ve had the great pleasure to talk to throughout this series!   To hear more from my conversation with Erika, check out the episode below. Let me know your thoughts!   #Porsche #DrivenByDreams -- ℹ️Porsche Macan Turbo (WLTP): Power consumption combined: 18.9 – 20.7 kWh/100 km; CO₂ emissions combined: 0 g/km; electric range combined: 518 – 591 km; electric range city: 670 – 765 km I Status 07/2024

This week the number of all-new Macan variants has doubled. We’ve announced that two new models will be added to the range; the agile new rear-wheel-drive Macan and the Macan 4S are joining the existing Macan 4 and Turbo Macan. Here is the briefest of summaries:   - The first ever rear-wheel-drive Macan model (the lightest variant in the range) develops 355 hp – enough to allow it to accelerate from a standstill to 60mph in 5.4 seconds. It starts at an MSRP of $75,300. - The new Macan 4S is equipped with all-wheel drive and slots in between the Macan 4 and Macan Turbo variants. The 4S offers up to 380 kW (509 hp) of overboost power – lowering the 0-60mph time to just 3.9 seconds. It has an MSRP of $84,900 - All electric Macan models can be ordered with a brand new optional exterior color, Slate Grey Neo (pictured in the gallery), and the wheel portfolio has been expanded further to feature a 20-inch Macan S wheel. In addition, a new optional off-road design package can also be ordered.   Deliveries are expected to start here in the US in the fall. Much more information can be found right here: https://lnkd.in/dRue6SaK And, to configure your own all-electric Macan, head this way: https://lnkd.in/dMs-U4ug

Last month, Porsche's Powered by Culture Business Resource Group hosted special guest Andrew Davis, Sony Music Entertainment's EVP & Global Chief People Experience Officer, for a conversation centered around the value of belonging as we rounded out #CaribbeanHeritage month with colleagues across North America.   "In my experience, employees need three elements to thrive: Direction, which is leadership, Growth & Development, which is Capability building and an environment that allows you to thrive, which is culture," shared Davis, who spoke of his personal experience as a teenager moving to the US from Jamaica. "My parents taught us the value of getting things done. Work ethic and the belief that things happen for a reason have driven my personal journey - and shape my professional pursuits.""   The candid conversation between Davis and MHP Americas, Inc. – A Porsche Company CEO and President, Tobias Hoffmeister, was a dive into topics from the value of relationships to the impact of technology on industries including music, automotive and mental health.   #DrivenByDreams #CaribbeanHeritageMonth #Belonging

This morning we’re announcing the best quarterly sales in PCNA’s history. In Q2 retail deliveries totaled 21,304 cars – a rise of 13% YoY – made possible by outstanding performances; for example, in June the 911 – the very core of Porsche – achieved its best month ever in the US!   Behind the numbers, there are many new and existing owners. If you’re reading this, and you’re one of them; thank you; and welcome, from each and every one of us at Porsche, to the beginning of what we hope will be a wonderful journey. Please know, supporting you is not only the team here at PCNA but also over 200 independently owned and operated Porsche Centers across America, each focused on the details to ensure your experience is every bit as special as your new car.   These results in Q2 go a long way to balancing out our supply-constrained Q1 – with our overall performance for H1 being just 4% behind where we were this time in 2023. With the first sales of the all-new, all-electric Macan due to begin this fall, to be joined by the new 911 Carrera and GTS before year end, and the new Panamera and new Taycan arriving in greater volume, the next months are already looking busy.   As ever, this has been a team effort – and I’m grateful to everyone, both here and in Germany (you know who you are!), who gave everything to support our customers. This week we welcomed Oliver Blume, Lutz Meschke, Detlev von Platen, Dr. Sebastian Rudolph, Björn Scheib and members of their teams to our U.S. home in Atlanta. An invigorating two days during which we explored new ideas, reflected on our year so far and looked forwards with optimism and renewed energy – all with a focus on our customers.   This coincided with the news that Porsche has achieved the Number One position in the luxury segment of the J.D. Power 2024 U.S. Initial Quality Study – which measures the first 90 days of vehicle ownership.   We are, as a team – both in the U.S. and in Germany – proud and grateful to receive this recognition, which is the result of our relentless commitment to quality. My personal congratulations go out to our incredible network of Porsche Centers across the U.S. who gave their all – striving for every experience to be exceptional.
