As part of my internship at PentaTech IT Solutions, I’m currently working on developing a replica of the Mattress Home Website. It’s been an incredible journey alongside my tutor and boss, Charles Owusu Bih. I’ve made significant progress in learning ReactJS after initially struggling to grasp this powerful library. The past few weeks have been filled with hands-on experiences that have truly enhanced my skills. • ReactJS Library I’m excited to dive into single-page applications (SPAs) with React. From setting up a React project using Vite to installing essential packages like React Router and Lucide Icons with NodeJS (npm), I’ve been mastering the composable features of React and integrating APIs. SPAs allow for seamless user experiences by dynamically updating content without full page reloads, making them an exciting area of focus for me. • Styling with Tailwind CSS I’ve learned how to implement responsive design, ensuring that applications look great on all devices. Although I faced challenges with responsiveness, I was able to debug issues independently using developer tools—a valuable tip I picked up from a previous web development course. A big thanks to my tutor Charles Owusu Bih for his guidance and support throughout this journey. Hello LinkedIn fam, As part of my internship with PentaTech IT Solutions in collaboration with Xerink Tech, I was required to build a simple CRUD app with the focus entirely on this project's backend. The sole aim of this project was to enable us (interns) to gain some knowledge of how the backend of every web app works and to get our hands dirty with some backend work to aid knowledge retention. This CRUD app was a simple to-do app(frontend pre-built with ReactJS) and the backend built with the following technologies: Node.js(For building the server) Express(As a web framework) Mongoose(To interface with databases) Mongodb(To handle the database) Nodemon (To keep our server running)  Cors (For functionality in cross-origin requests) Dotenv (For storing environment variables) Building this project under the guidance of our abled supervisors has aided in practicing my skills in the various backend technologies and has boosted my understanding in various areas in backend applications as was the intention. In the coming weeks we should be taking on more projects to advance our skills in writing top-notch backend codes. 🚀Project: CRUD Application🚀 As part of my internship at PentaTech IT Solutions, I’ve been working on a project to build a simple crud application using Node.js and Express.js. 🔥Functions Users can create todos. They can view all created todos. Users can update and delete todos. However the app doesn’t support user creation at the moment so users can view and delete other users todos. 👨💻Technologies Node.js and Express.js for building the server MongoDb for the database. 📌To-do I’m planning on adding user creation and authentication to prevent users from having access to todos created by others.
