About us
Orlando City SC joined Major League Soccer (MLS) as the league's 21st franchise in November 2013, becoming the first MLS team in the Southeast. The Lions began league play in March 2015, and in 2017, moved into its privately-owned downtown soccer stadium. In 2022, Orlando City SC re-launched OCB as a founding member of MLS NEXT Pro to bridge the gap between its successful youth development academy and the First Team.

📣Join us in celebrating Alyssa Gonzalez, our Teammate of the Month for both Orlando Pride and Orlando City SC! As our Premium Member Experience Specialist, Alyssa excels at delivering top-notch service and fostering strong relationships, all while focusing on retaining and expanding premium membership accounts for the club. We're fortunate to have you on our team, Alyssa! We had the chance to ask Alyssa a few questions: Fan First: What does it mean to "bleed purple"?💜 Alyssa: Our fans and staff are the true example of what it means to bleed purple. We come prepared to cheer on Orlando Pride and Orlando City, rain or shine, giving our time and commitment each season to defend our home stadium with the hope of winning it all. It's important to be there through the ups and downs and enjoy the journey together, because when we win, the celebration is so much greater. #Vamos!. Authentic: What inspires you to go the extra mile in your role? Alyssa: I have the privilege of working with the most incredible colleagues and season ticket members. Many of my members have treated me as part of their family, and this is a reward in itself. I continue to stay motivated to go above and beyond in my role because I see the impact it has on those around me and the lifelong memories, I can create for the wonderful Orlando City and Orlando Pride season ticket members.

Meet Felipe Montiel! He serves as the Club's Academy Video and Performance Analyst. Q: How did you get your start in the sports industry? A: My start in the sports industry began with my passion for the game, which eventually led me to my first role at Queensboro FC in New York. Before that, I was involved in the game by playing it, which helped me a lot. Q: Why Orlando City/Orlando Pride? A: Because of the project and Club's high-level standards from the Academy to the first team. Working with Orlando City allows me to be part of a great organization both on and off the field.
