Meet Boji, a nonbinary graphic designer rebuilding their life in Berlin after fleeing Ukraine due to Russia’s full-scale invasion. Looking to advance their career, Boji began looking for a new job opportunity, but the search dragged on for months. That all changed after they joined ORAM's Economic Empowerment Program for LBTIQ* refugees. Through our partnership with Tent Partnership for Refugees, Boji was paired with a mentor — and a few weeks later, they landed a job as a graphic designer! Learn more about Boji's inspiring journey in our new blog post: https://buff.ly/3BtxjH2 💙 If you're an LBTIQ refugee from Ukraine seeking job development support, fill out our form here: https://buff.ly/3ZEDYbG *LBTIQ: Lesbian, bisexual women, trans, and non-binary people displaced by the war in Ukraine and now in Germany. #LBTIQ #Refugees #Ukraine #LBTIQRefugees #ORAM #EconomicEmpowerment #SuccessStory

ORAM protects and empowers LGBTIQ asylum seekers and refugees globally, creating sustainability and systematic.
About us
Founded in 2008, ORAM - the Organization for Refuge, Asylum and Migration is a pioneer in advocating for the protection and well-being of extremely vulnerable LGBTIQ refugees and asylum seekers globally. ORAM is recognized as the first international NGO to assist people fleeing persecution based on their sexual orientation or gender identity and has since become a thought leader in LGBTIQ migration. We have a long and proud history educating and training refugee professionals on the particular needs of LGBTIQ asylum seekers and supporting LGBTIQ asylum seekers navigating the long asylum process from the moment they arrive in their first country of asylum to being resettled to a safe third country. We collaborate with local partners and our beneficiaries to ensure that our work is built around the people we serve.
