Monica Oss, the Chief Executive Officer for OPEN MINDS, focused on the framework to navigate to strategy success during her closing keynote at the #OMTechnology Institute yesterday. Steve Hornberger and Michelle Matter were delighted to co-chair the inaugural Open Minds Aging in Place Summit, an all-day executive event designed to help health and human services organizations address the growing care gap for older adults with complex needs. As part of the OPEN MINDS Circle Minds Technology and Analytics Institute, the summit brought together thought leaders to explore innovative strategies for supporting healthy aging and longevity. Topics included health equity, person-centered approaches, and solutions for aging in place. Steve Hornberger led discussions with leaders in aging, including Leanne Clark-Shirley, Ph.D., FGSA, Rigo Saborio, Julie Alexis, Najja Orr, MBA, DBA, Jennifer Sinnott, Lisa Bodenheimer, Tanya Wyant, PhD, and Elaine Aguirre, who are paving the way for more inclusive and effective care for older adults. #OMTechnology

So where are executives of community-based provider organizations on #tech investment and adoption? Our recent survey, “Knowing Where You Stand In The Digital Age: The 2024 OPEN MINDS Technology Adoption Survey," provided an updated snapshot on #TechAdoption in these verticals. Two themes emerged from the #data. First, the tech profile of organizations providing primary care services continues to diverge from the specialty care sector.
