Known for his playful and highly ornamented ceramic pieces, as well as prints and drawings, Jeffry Mitchell’s art explores ideas of gender, spirituality, vulnerability, and self-discovery; this piece is currently on display at Olson Kundig’s Seattle office. We’re pleased to share that a new office complex in Atlanta’s historic Fourth Ward, led by design principals Tom Kundig, FAIA, RIBA, Kirsten Ring Murray FAIA, and Steven Rainville, AIA, LEED AP, has been featured online by Dezeen! "The design was heavily influenced by the BeltLine and the desire to weave those ground-level pedestrian pathways into the experience of the architecture,” said design principal Tom Kundig. Design principal Kirsten Ring Murray added, "We wanted to make the building porous, which in turn helped to drive the form. It's intended to be an inviting, welcoming building that integrates with the surrounding community." We're proud to share that Vikram Sami, Director of Building Performance, has been named a Fellow of the American Solar Energy Society (ASES)! Vikram has been a leader in advancing passive solar design for over 20 years, in addition to being actively involved with ASES. In addition to leading Olson Kundig’s Building Performance team, Vikram has served as the chair of Georgia’s Solar Energy Association, and his writing on solar design has been featured in Solar Today and Harold R.
