Who runs the world? Girls! During the pandemic Oiselle athlete Kara Goucher created Fast Girl Friday, a platform to give a voice to high school girls in running. Last night, in the lead-up to the Boston Marathon we are so honored to have brought the Boston running community Fast Girls Live, where Kara Goucher and Lindsey Hein talked to local running talent about the sport, their dreams, and their accomplishments. Starting off our Boston events, Oiselle hosted an incredible panel with Girls on the Run Greater Boston with Author Johanna Garton and I'll Have Another Podcast host Lindsey Hein, joined by panelists Elvin Kibet, Bri Boehmer, and Brenna Detra. It’s time to fly, Birds! 🪽 It’s almost go time for the Oiselle athletes racing the US Olympic Trials Marathon! I’m so excited to cheer my heart out for Carrie M, Theresa, Ari, Molly, Carrie V, and Elena, and am equally proud of Bri who worked hard toward an OTQ (but smartly walked away without one). At The Nest (Oiselle HQ) it’s been The Year of the Underbird; the Oiselle team, spearheaded by Justine, put together a game-changing sponsorship program leading up to the Trials to support and elevate developing elites.
