Ocean Mist Farms has been in relentless pursuit of excellence since our founders came here from Italy 100 years ago and began growing artichokes in the fertile and nutrient-rich Castroville fields, cooled naturally by Monterey Bay breezes. A century – and four generations – later, we are the largest grower/shipper of artichokes in North America. We remain committed to the same level of service and quality standards that our forefathers established a century ago.

We honored team members for their service ranging from 5 to 55 years. That’s not a typo…55 years for shipping manager, Mr. Rene Cardona! 🙌 Thanks to all for the exceptional work and commitment they bring to their roles every day. 💚

A big thank you to Cathy Burns and the International Fresh Produce Association for another fantastic Global Produce Show in Atlanta last week! It’s always a pleasure to reconnect with industry friends and colleagues, and to be immersed in an environment showcasing so many amazing innovations in the fresh produce world. We were especially excited to introduce our latest innovation – Roastables, Ready-To-Roast kits – and were thrilled with the positive feedback from all our booth visitors who sampled them. Looking forward to Anaheim next year! 💚
