  • The New Orleans Jazz Museum and Jazz International proudly sponsored the Original Pinettes Brass Band’s performance for Bastille Day on July 14th at the 63rd edition of Jazz à Juan, the oldest jazz festival in France. The Original Pinettes Brass Band also captivated audiences at Jammin’Juan in the Place Nationale d’Antibes’ music kiosk, attracting people of all ages, both locals and tourists from around the world. This festival marked the Pinettes' first performance in France, giving the public a chance to discover this exceptional band. They made a strong impression on a very enthusiastic audience. Our special thanks go to the Antibes Tourism Office, Philippe Baute, General Manager of the Antibes Juan-les-Pins Tourism Office, Audouin Rambaud, Deputy Mayor for Tourism and Events, Michèle Bosq, Director of Development at the Antibes Juan-les-Pins Tourism Office, Jean Leonetti, Mayor of Antibes Juan-les-Pins, and Alexia Missana, Deputy Mayor of Antibes Juan-les-Pins! • The New Orleans Jazz Museum and La Petite Halle joined forces for two fabulous performances on July 5th and 6th at the New Orleans Jazz to La Petite Halle festival! Bringing together talented musicians from New Orleans and from France in residence at the New Orleans Jazz Museum through the Villa Albertine program, we celebrated the cultural ties between Paris and New Orleans with an exceptional performance. Leading figures on the new jazz scene in France, drummer Anne Paceo and saxophonist Raphaël Imbert presented an improv concert on the 5th of July. On July 6th theTrio Chrominance, featuring Glenn Ferris on trombone and harmonica, New Orleans drummer Jeff Boudreaux and Bruno Rousselet on bass, immersed the audience in the atmosphere of the Crescent City’s Mardi Gras during a very festive evening. This festival took place as part of Jazz International, an initiative of the New Orleans Jazz Museum dedicated to promoting New Orleans arts and culture internationally. It encourages touristic travel to New Orleans and provides musicians with a chance to perform on the world stage, increasing their exposure to international crowds. Our warmest thanks to New Orleans & Company for their sponsorship and support of the New Orleans Jazz to La Petite Halle festival! #NewOrleansJazzMuseum #LaPetiteHalle #JazzInternational #VillaAlbertine #FrenchJazz #RaphaëlImbert #JeffBoudreaux #CulturalExchange #ParisMeetsNOLA #JazzScene #MusicFestival #JazzCommunity #NewOrleansCulture #CrescentCityJazz
