Last week, New Mexico IDEA recognized AutomateUp+, a program of Mesilla Valley Economic Development Alliance, with the Talent Development & Retention Award at the inaugural Economic Development Excellence Awards. AutomateUp+ is an innovative program aimed at helping individuals and businesses obtain industry certifications such as certified manufacturing associates, preventive controls for human foods, proprietary equipment training, & more. The Economic Development Excellence Awards celebrate economic development projects and initiatives for their impact in creating a diverse and robust economy that engages local talent, cultivates innovation, and delivers prosperity for all New Mexicans.
