Julie McKeon, assistant chief of probation in Warren County, yesterday helped deliver food donated by employees of the Somerset/Hunterdon/Warren Vicinage. The food drive, organized by the vicinage’s Office of the Ombudsman, EEO, and the Probation Division, raised enough items to fill six collection boxes, which were created by students from the Hunterdon County Jobs Readiness Program. The donations were split between the Somerset and Hunterdon County food banks and Warren County Norwescap Food Bank.

Employees from the Office of Management and Administrative Services at the Administrative Office of the Courts in Trenton collected and donated non-perishable food and household items from October through November. The collected items are to benefit the food bank at the Mercer Street Friends in Trenton. The non-profit organization helps more than 100 food pantries, shelters, soup kitchens, meal sites, senior centers and programs for disabled and low-income housing sites through a robust network of staff and volunteers.
