  • 🏌️ The recent 7th Annual Fore the Veterans Golf Tournament was a smash success, raising $37,000 for the veterans served by Liberty House NH! ❤ Stonebridge Country Club welcomed a full slate of players, sponsors and supporters for a beautiful day of golfing fun, raffles and fellowship - all for a great cause! Because of this wonderful event, more veterans, who are facing post traumatic stress, housing instability, and other challenges, can benefit from Liberty House's substance-free residential program and community pantry, and rebuild lives of purpose and independence. Thank you to all who participated! 🙏 And come on back next year - the 8th Annual Fore the Veterans tourney is June 27, 2025! ⛳️ #supportveterans #LibertyHouseNH

  • Someone In Their Corner Meredith and her husband, Robert, were reeling. After a long illness, their adult son, James, passed away. The burden of their grief, combined with their financial responsibility for James’ remaining medical bills, weighed heavily on them. Their fixed income provided no room to cover their electricity bill. Worried the power could go off at any time, Meredith made the call to Catholic Charities NH. Here’s where you come in. Our donor-supported Community Services program provides individuals and families, like Meredith and Robert, with a much-needed advocate, helping them with financial literacy coaching, connections to community resources and relief to move their lives forward. Knowing the details of Meredith and Robert’s budget and story was a big help. It turned out that they were paying more than they needed to and we were able to reduce the monthly payment by 75%, to a level they could afford. “I thought we had to pay what the bill said and that was that,” recalls Meredith. “I’m so grateful that Catholic Charities was in my corner and helped us get back to normal. We really thought there was no way out.” Meredith and Robert’s story is a reminder that life can become overwhelming very quickly, but having people like you in their corner to restore hope makes all the difference. 🙏❤ #HereForYou #compassion

  • 🎉 Remember Kevin? He's the veteran resident at Liberty House that we told you about a couple months ago, when he hit a big milestone in getting his driver's license for the first time in many years. Now look at him! That's right, he's bought a new car - and with it, the feeling of success and the freedom to visit his kids and get himself to work and his appointments. Through hard work and the support of Liberty House staff, Kevin has built up his financial literacy by learning to budget, save, and build credit, and the result is another huge milestone on his way to an independent and self-sufficient future. Congrats to Kevin and thank you to all of our donors and supporters who make these inspiring moments possible! 🙏❤ #libertyhouse #supportveterans
