    Our Neiman Marcus Group leadership teams had a busy New York Fashion Week. From market appointments to runway shows, they hit the pavement to meet with brand partners, review collections, and define the look of the season.     In addition, our leaders were proud to attend Kering’s Caring for Women Gala, organized by the Kering Foundation. The Foundation and the Gala provide funds to organizations that support those impacted by gender-based violence, working to break cycles of violence by raising awareness, changing mindsets, and creating safe spaces. Leaders also attended the annual Couture Council Luncheon hosted by The Museum at FIT, honoring 2024 Neiman Marcus Award for Innovation-winner, Simon Porte Jacquemus.     Our leadership teams consistently highlight our ongoing commitment to Revolutionizing Luxury Experiences and championing positive change for the fashion industry and beyond.

The collection draws on the brand’s best-selling silhouettes and reimagines them in the House's signature leopard print. With a variety of styles, heel heights and functions, the edit offers something for every customer. This collection is another in a long line of exclusive and Christian Louboutin creations for Neiman Marcus customers, following previous activations such as the ‘A La Piscine’ pool-side shopping experience at Neiman Marcus NorthPark and the 2019 Fantasy Gift offering that gave customers the opportunity to create a custom pair of Christian Louboutin shoes. Our very first store, in historic Downtown Dallas, was built with a vision to fashionably clothe the Dallas community, pledging fashion, quality and unparalleled service. Today, we proudly uphold these founding principles, continuing to be a destination for timeless style and luxury.     Neiman Marcus President Ryan Ross and Chief Integrated Retail & Customer Officer Stefanie Tsen Ward have embarked on a cross-country ‘Be Extraordinary’ tour—visiting every Neiman Marcus store nationwide to connect and collaborate with associates, celebrate successes, and showcase the magic being created in our stores every day.    Ryan and Stefanie kicked off the tour in August at Neiman Marcus Bal Harbour, and have since visited 11 stores across the Southeast and Texas, spending time with sales associates and store leaders, operations, alterations, restaurant, visual and brand experience teams. The Neiman Marcus store teams go above and beyond to Make Life Extraordinary for our customers, brand partners, and one another.    Follow along the ‘Be Extraordinary’ tour and keep your eye on our socials to see where they head next!

    Neiman Marcus Group is a longtime supporter of and meaningful partner to the Fashion Scholarship Fund - helping to mentor and prepare the next generation of fashion industry talent. As part of their partnership, they collaborated on programming that celebrates the recipients of this year’s #NeimanMarcusAwards, a historic program that has honored over 150 fashion luminaries. Moderated by NM President and Chief Merchandising Officer, Lana Todorovich, FSF brought together their Scholars, Scholar Applicants, and Alumni for conversations with two of this year’s honored houses, Dior and Schiaparelli. Executives from both maison’s shared their career journeys and provided their advice to those looking to break into the fashion industry. Thank you Alexandra Winokur, Marisa Pucci, Nina Zukanovic, Hanh Nguyen, Alexandra De Rancogne of Dior and Delphine Bellini of SCHIAPARELLI!

    As we celebrate Black-owned brands and businesses throughout Black Business Month, the Heart of Neiman Marcus Foundation is proud to partner with RAISEfashion, a non-profit network of fashion industry leaders, providing pro bono consulting to BIPOC-owned brands and individuals. NMG’s collaboration with RAISEfashion provides BIPOC designers access to advice from industry experts through the Advisory Network, tailored training through the Brand Fellowship Masterclasses, and financial support through the Designer Production Fund. We’re excited to support RAISEfashion and participating brands. Following their success in RAISEfashion programs, BIPOC designers Charles Harbison, Almasika, and Aisling Camps have each become part of our curated assortment. As we strive to increase our spend with diverse-owned brands and businesses by 2025, partnerships like these enable us to champion BIPOC-owned brands and stay at the forefront of fashion.

    We were deeply saddened this weekend to learn of the passing of Betty Halbreich, a fashion icon, personal shopper, and mainstay of Bergdorf Goodman. When Betty began her decades-long career at Bergdorf Goodman in September of 1976, few could estimate the impact her expert style, effortless humor, and incandescent personality would have on the Fifth Avenue landmark. She developed Bergdorf’s personal shopping services, and fostered an incredible roster of iconic clients. Clients came to Betty for her style, but stayed for her friendship. Her wisdom and wit made her a joy to be around, and she will be tremendously missed at Bergdorf Goodman and in the fashion world at large. Our thoughts continue to be with Betty’s family and friends.

    At NMG, we Lead with Love in everything we do for our customers, associates, brand partners, and communities. Last month, nearly 100 NMG associates from various teams gathered at our NMG Dallas Hub for our inaugural “Back to School Backpacking” event. Together, volunteers filled backpacks with essential school supplies and handwritten notes of encouragement for students at North Dallas High School. As students in Dallas head back to school, these backpacks and our NMG associates’ service are sure to help students start the school year off on the right foot.
