☀️ What an incredible day at our EcoCart + Hawke Media + Tapcart Beach Clean Up! 🏖️🌊 Not only did we clean up our local beach (those small pieces of trash can be the most threatening to our oceans!) but we also had a blast networking and making a meaningful impact. Together, we cleared multiple buckets of trash and nearly 100 cigarette butts (!) from the beach, all while forging new connections over our shared commitment to the environment, making the experience even more fulfilling. We finished the day the best way we knew how with drinks and Mexican food. A special shout-out to the fantastic NATION LTD team for their energetic participation! Your dedication and enthusiasm have ripple effects. Thank you to everyone who joined us—we proved that positive change can be both impactful and fun. We’ve partnered with For Days to launch the Take Back Bag. Meet the uncomplicated way to recycle your clothes. When you clean your closet, you’ll divert up to 15 lbs of fashion waste from landfills and 92 lbs of CO2 emissions from the lower atmosphere. Just from one bag. You’ll also get $20 in Nation credit. On average, 50% of all textiles sent in Take Back Bags will be downcycled into insulation, carpeting, rags, etc. 45% will be resold and upcycled. 5% is actual trash (sorry to say it) and will be responsibly disposed of. We’re committed to slowing down fashion waste however we can (as uncomplicated as possible). If we’re more conscious about how we clean, we can save clothes from prematurely ending up in a landfill and instead, give them a new life.
