What a week! The NEC/AAAE successfully hosted its inaugural Leadership Symposium in Morristown, NJ, on June 12th and 13th. The event saw participation from 26 industry professionals representing 15 airports and 7 corporate partners from the Northeast region. This symposium served as a platform for valuable insights, leadership development, and networking opportunities, enriching the experience of all attendees. Along with NEC/AAAE, special thanks to Dr. TJ Holloway from the Holloway Group and Portland International Jetport for their support and efforts to make this inaugural event such a success! Glad to have everyone here in Morristown and hope to see you all again soon!

What an honor for for our team at Morristown Airport (KMMU) and teammate Darren Large A.A.E. to be presented with the Service Member Patriot Award yesterday! The award is given by the Employer Support of the Guard & Reserve (ESGR) and reflects the efforts made to support citizen warriors through a wide-range of measures including flexible schedules, time off prior to and after deployment, caring for families, and granting leaves of absence if needed. Marcia Gibbs, 99th Readiness Division, United States Army Reserve, joined us at Morristown Airport in July 2023 and nominated Darren and MMU for the award. We are grateful to have Marcia as part of our team and thankful for her service! You can learn more about the ESGR by visiting their website here: https://www.esgr.mil/
