Last month, Meridian attended MIU Men's Health Foundation's annual Men's Health Event at Ford Field to provide information on our new telehealth provider, Ortele Health! Ortele connects people with PCPs, specialists, and mental health providers. Thousands of people attended the event, which included vitals screenings, labs, flu and COVID-19 vaccines, HIV testing, colorectal screenings, skin cancer screenings, eye exams, hearing tests, diabetes testing and more! #MeridianCares

Meridian celebrated National Health Center Week by supporting the incredible work of health centers across Michigan and attending 11 events in 8 different counties! These events were in partnership with Grace Health, Honor Community Health, Hackley Community Care, Great Lakes Bay Health Centers, Hamilton Community Health Network, Family Health Center, Cherry Health, Western Wayne Family Health Centers, and Advantage Health! Each of these centers provide esssential healthcare services to thousands of people, ensuring that everyone has access to quality care. Meridian was the proud presenting sponsor of Neighborhood Service Organization (NSO)'s Day of Hope this year! This free event was a weekend led by NSO together with the City of Detroit and The Right Productions Inc. designed to provide access to much-needed wraparound services and resources for unhoused people and families in metro Detroit. Those who came out had access to housing solutions, health screenings, job readiness training, transportation resources, meal vouchers, and case management counseling. Our team alone handed out over 1,100 pairs of underwear! Thank you to everyone who helped to support metro Detroit families in need! #MeridianCares
