🎓 Welcome to our new class of Veterinary Social Work interns! 🎓 Our Social Work department partners with 15 universities around the country to provide students with meaningful internships in Veterinary Social Work at our hospitals. Interns receive hands-on training and experience in many areas, all while providing the extraordinary MedVet experience to our pet parents. MedVet Indianapolis is thrilled to announce that we now provide Medical Oncology services! This growth comes with the addition of Dr. Kirsten Jackson to our team. Dr. Jackson brings a deep expertise in veterinary medical oncology, with a special emphasis on electrochemotherapy, hospice/palliative care, lymphoma, and osteosarcoma. Her favorite aspect of practicing veterinary medicine is helping families understand their pets’ conditions and navigating the challenges of a cancer diagnosis. She finds great joy in celebrating additional time with patients who respond well to treatment. We're excited to welcome Dr. Sean Wyatt to MedVet Chicago! 🩺 Dr. Wyatt has been a valued member of the MedVet Columbus team since 2021 and now brings his expertise to our Chicago location. Specializing in surgery, Dr. Wyatt has a keen interest in fracture repair, skin reconstruction, surgical oncology, as well as minimally invasive, cardiothoracic, hepatobiliary, and emergency procedures. He is passionate about daily interactions with animals, enhancing their health, and strengthening the human-animal bond. Outside the hospital, Dr. Wyatt enjoys staying active, watching films and TV, meditating, and playing games.
