McKinney York Architects is excited to highlight three talented additions to our team!
Clayton Holmes, AIA, PMP joins us with a deep passion for adaptive reuse and community-driven architecture. A graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, Clayton's approach to architecture is both humble and creative, as seen in his admiration for Lina Bo Bardi's SESC Pompeia Factory. His mentors and experiences have shaped his unique ability to challenge conventional thinking while staying grounded in community values. Fun fact: If not in architecture, Clayton would love to write for The Onion!
Shane Bearrow brings an energetic and eclectic style influenced by his experiences at Texas A&M University. He’s passionate about design in all its forms—architecture, furniture making, illustration—and it shows in his admiration for Frank Gehry’s playfully surreal Neue Zollhof buildings. Outside of the office, you’ll find him chasing after his kids and dogs or sketching ideas that merge function and creativity. If not in architecture, Shane would likely be a punk rock drummer!
Frank Badillo has a keen eye for problem-solving and envelope design, backed by his education at the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico. He finds inspiration in Phillip Johnson’s Glass House for its simplicity and innovation, and he's constantly striving to bring forward-thinking solutions to his projects. When he's not at the office, Frank is diligently studying for the ARE exams and sharpening his design skills, building on his work with projects like Garza Ranch in Austin.
