Inspired by the amazing efforts of the Daniel Island Kids' “Flocking for Wishes,” we’re inviting the #OldVillage neighborhood to flock together and help grant life-changing wishes for local children with critical illnesses. Here’s how you can join in: ✨ 𝑭𝒍𝒐𝒄𝒌 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒍𝒐𝒄𝒌: For a minimum donation of $250, our team of "Ninja Flockers" will stealthily flock your yard with vibrant flamingos between November 17-21! You can also “flock” a friend’s yard or make a donation without flocking to show your support. ✨ 𝑵𝒊𝒏𝒋𝒂 𝑭𝒍𝒐𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒓𝒔: Volunteer to join our stealthy Flock Ninjas lead the charge, creating excitement as they “flock” yards each night ✨ 𝑱𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒐𝒓 𝑭𝒍𝒐𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒓𝒔: Little ones can get in on the fun as “Little Flockers,” dressing up in pink and helping clean up after school. Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a wish granting volunteer with Make-A-Wish® South Carolina! I’ve gotten to meet some of the sweetest, most resilient kids— like Lettie, who wished for a golf cart, and James, who wished for a Star Wars experience. It’s because of these kids that I decided to take on the Trailblaze Challenge— a one-day, 28-mile fundraising hike designed to remind us of the journey wish families face as they battle cancer and other illnesses. Unfortunately this year’s hike was canceled due to Hurricane Helene; however, I’ve decided to complete a 26-mile walk this Saturday, November 2nd to raise awareness and funds for wishes! If I hit my fundraising goal, I’ll increase the distance to 30 miles. Would you consider joining me to grant wishes for local kids?
