Taking time off for my international community/scholarship work with Global Tassels over the past 10 days has been both a humbling and energizing experience. We've been traveling through Southeast Asia, and it has been an incredible honor to serve. As the founder and de facto Chief Mission Officer, I find great joy in connecting with our students (current, alums, and potentials) their families, and the dedicated community partners in the countries where Global Tassels operates. This year, we extended our mission to Thailand, where we have already begun laying the foundation for meaningful work. Global Tassels is gaining momentum, and I attribute this success to our incredible volunteers on the ground who have made it possible by supporting and uplifting one another. This kind of work, outside of our day-to-day jobs, offers an extraordinary perspective on the future of developing countries. I am deeply grateful to everyone serving in GT and those who show up whenever we are around. Traveling has been exhausting, but after this whirlwind of flights, I feel a renewed sense of purpose. I continue to stay humble and appreciate those of you who have guided us throughout this decade-long journey. To our board members who have remained committed and helped set a strong vision for the next 10 years, I thank you. It has been an honor to connect with so many people on the ground and hear their stories. This global work is not just important—it is vital for the future.
