Meet our Operations Assistant, Marlene Alvarez! 🔷 What do you do at Lexicon? I do everything from payroll and hiring for sites to training field clerks and submitting Requests For Information (RFIs) to vendors and clients. I assist every department within Universal. 🔷 How long have you been with Lexicon? 3 years in September 🔷 What is your definition of success? Making a positive impact, enjoying what you do and having a sense of purpose. The point where happiness meets gratification and achievements and the motivation to keep learning and advancing. 🔷 Who or what motivates you? The people who surround me, not only my coworkers but also my family and friends and especially my dad. Their confidence in me motivates me to want to exceed all expectations. 🔷 What is one thing that you wish people knew about your job? I am here to help in any way I can. I hope everyone feels comfortable reaching out to me, and I make myself very accessible to our employees. 🔷 What are you most proud of in your career so far? My growth from when I got hired with Universal at 19 to now at 21. I have learned a vast number of new skills from amazing people. 🔷 What do you like to do in your free time? I enjoy traveling and the outdoors. Any chance I get a free second, I try to fly home to spend time with my family and friends.
