If you have a basic understanding of fundamental/civil rights and are willing to advocate for individuals with disabilities, WE NEED YOU! 📝 Responsibilities: - Review incident reports quarterly - Commit 2-4 hours per quarter - Collaborate on recommendations for involved parties 📚 Training will be provided on The League and DDA policies & procedures. On Friday, June 28th, over 50 professional volunteers supported the graduating seniors from Urban Alliance’s Break A Difference internship program during a Professional Development Day. Among the volunteers were members from The League's amazing HR Team, Dawn Witherspoon and Tiffany Joyner. They helped improve the students’ interview skill sets and refine LinkedIn profiles for success during the hiring process. Each of these elements is important to the students’ next steps in entering the professional world.
