Last month’s 13th Annual Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Alumni Leadership Symposium was an exciting opportunity to share the importance of building meaningful relationships and the invaluable role that a personal Board of Directors can play in one's career. Many thanks to my co-panelists Danielle McCoy, Fannie Mae's General Counsel and Nicole Lester Arrindell, Esq., Equitable’s Government Relations Counsel and Chief of Staff to the Chief Legal Officer, for partnering in an engaging discussion with the LCLD alumni community. And special thanks to the LCLD team and alumni community for having us. The knowledge shared and connections made were a highlight of the month.

I had a fantastic time attending the LCLD NY Regional Meeting with FH colleague Rich Bahrenburg! It was a great opportunity to connect, learn, and share insights with leading lawyers in the Northeast.

An inspiring day at the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Northeast regional meeting in NYC with fellow HP colleague Matxalen Sánchez. Also enjoyed meeting other LCLD fellows Angel Preston, JD, Chanel Lattimer-Tingan, and Carmen Manrara Cartaya.

This week, I had the privilege of attending the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) 2024 Regional Meeting for Fellows and Pathfinders in the Big Apple. The programs were nothing short of amazing, leaving me empowered, inspired, and equipped with tools to excel in our challenging profession. Having started at LCLD as a mentor to 1Ls from diverse backgrounds 4 years ago, I am now a Pathfinder, absorbing everything LCLD has to offer. It is truly an honor to be part of a community of diverse and dynamic attorneys, where we can exchange experiences and uplift each other in a supportive space. They weren't kidding when they said you leave feeling like a part of #LCLDNation. Excited to reconnect with everyone in October in DC! 😊
